Deductive Thinking Skills
Our best-selling deductive thinking puzzles, develop logic, reading comprehension, and mental organizational skills that are vital to achieving high grades and top test scores in all subjects. They are also great for developing real-life, problem-solving skills. For individuals doing Individualized Neurodevelopmental Plans we find it beneficial to disregard the grade levels and start very low and work quickly until you get to the instructional level.
Methods
Students will learn to carefully analyze each Mind Benders® and its clues, identifying logical associations between people, places, and things. The key is to start with the most obvious associations, then less obvious associations until everything finally fits together.
Teaching Support
Books include step-by-step instructions and detailed answers. Levels spiral in difficulty within grade range (e.g., A1, A2, A3, A4).
Test Prep
Mind Benders® help students succeed on standardized tests and prepare them for higher-level assessments.
Books are reproducible for single-classroom use.
