Associative Reasoning Activities
Dr. DooRiddles develops your students’ fluency and understanding of word meanings and associations as it improves their spelling, vocabulary, reading, and problem solving skills. For individuals doing Individualized Neurodevelopmental Plans we find it beneficial to disregard the grade levels and start very low and work quickly until you get to the instructional level.
Students carefully read through clues in each riddle, analyzing connections within and between clues to figure out what is being described. Solving the riddles requires students to evaluate homonyms, synonyms, homophones, prefixes, roots, and suffixes in order to deduce and spell whole and partial word answers.
Books are reproducible for single-classroom use.
